PERSEUS

Percy is the combination of a long awaited breeding between Mystique and Pepsi. He was born just before the COVID 19 pandemic so his show career as a puppy was limited. He finished his Canadian CH undefeated with group placements, puppy group wins and finished his puppy year placing #3 CSP in Canada in only 5 weekends of showing.
2021 We decided to show Percy in the US. He finished his championship undefeated and received his last points by winning Best of Breed from the classes over specials and a group 4th. His first show back in Canada and first show as a Champion, he wins Reserve Best in Show (Canadian Nationals weekend).
His next show in the US was his first US CSPCA Nationals. Due to a clerical error – he had to be shown in the classes at the Regional Specialty. Officially finishing his AKC Championship in the toughest competition, Percy wins Winners Dog for a 5 pt major. He did not stop there. Percy wins Best Futurity Puppy 2020 and Best Maturity Dog 2021. His first show as a Champion – the US national – he made the final cut of Special males.
In 5 short weekends, limited showing and several groups placements – he finishes 2021 as #3 Chinese Shar-Pei in Canada and in the top 20 Chinese Shar-Pei in US.

Percy has a bright future. We plan to spot special Percy a bit in 2022 and let him mature.
