About Us

Let’s start with introductions: We are the Chisholm family,  Michelle and my two boys Justin & Avery. We are located in the heart of apple country, near Colborne, Ontario on 8+ acre hobby farm with a straight south view of Lake Ontario.

My journey started over 30 yrs ago while in college and I fell in love with the cutest wrinkly dogs. They were so unique, I just had to have one. I come from a background in competitive sports; it was only natural to think about combining my love of sports with the love of dogs.  I purchased my first Shar-Pei: Meisha in 1988. She was the beginning of an incredibly rewarding and yet challenging journey through a life of dedication to the purebred dog.

More recently in 2006, my youngest son Avery decided he fell in love with Pugs. He wanted a smaller dog of his own. We started our journey. Tilly was our first Pug and teacher of this wonderful silly little breed.  I searched for a mentor that had the same vision of a beautiful and health dog to start our breeding program. We very soon partnered with Leanna Mottus of Xoe Pugs. The rest as they say…is history.
